Simpson Marine is Asia’s leading yacht dealer and broker, offering customers access to some of the world’s most prestigious yacht brands, as well as brokerage, charter and support services throughout the region.
With a discerning customer base and an impressive portfolio of luxury yacht brands, the company faced a challenge. It needed to improve the consistency of its communication with audiences across Asia, while also developing a writing style better suited to the luxury yacht brands it represents.
The company turned to Human Communications for help. We began by developing content for Simpson Marine’s monthly email newsletter, sent to customers and prospective customers in Asia. We also produced a regular stream of media releases announcing new services, events, boat shows and company news.
At the same time, the yacht dealer and broker chose our editing services to help polish its existing website copy and a number of other communications and marketing materials.
As we worked with the company’s marketing team to develop a uniform tone for its written communications, we also produced a corporate style guide to ensure brand consistency. Now, whenever a new staff member joins Simpson Marine, they can study this guide and learn about the company’s house style, saving the organisation time and effort when training new starters.
