As a small business manager, you probably face the same marketing challenge as many other small companies – coming up with ideas for new content that will interest potential customers and address their needs.

If so, one useful source of inspiration can be the stories that highlight how other small businesses have succeeded. So we were delighted to see this case study on the Copyblogger website recently, discussing how a pet sitting service was able to use content marketing to reach new clients online.

The business, Bella's House & Pet Sitting, has developed a content-rich website that has led to a staggering 85% of its customers finding it on the Internet. In addition, it uses email marketing to drive people back to the site and highlight new content likely to be of interest.

Bella Vasta, the company's owner, also revisits popular topics that resonate with her audience. She says that if readers are interested in a particular subject, it makes sense to write about it more than once – great advice for those struggling to come up with new content ideas.
